Wow! It has been a wonderful week. Our hearts are full. We love your child and feel blessed that we are sharing this school year together. Thank you to all the families who have turned in their colorful forms from Meet and Greet and clinic card from the Cobb County folder. If you still have those at home, please turn them in, so we have the information to keep your child safe.
   Next week starts a new learning week. Here is a preview of what they will be learning:
-In science, students will begin learning about constructive and destructive forces
-In social studies, we will be launching by getting an overview of the subjects we will learn about. We will also see what it takes to think like a historian, an economist, a political scientist, and a geographer.
-In math, students will begin learning the order of operations.
-In ELA, we will start our first unit. This will be using Esperanza Rising as our mentor text. We will specifically be looking at the structure of the story (plot story mountain) and determining background knowledge in order to help us comprehend the story.
